I puddled in August

I don't do well in the heat.  I don't do well in the cold.  I'm kind of like a middle of the road person.
It gets too hot, I head for the basement where it always seems to be just right.
I dug out some more kits and worked away.  My calendar told me so, however I got all this done even with some day trips here and there.
This was the first one I finished.  It gets marked on my calendar the day it comes off the frame.
Just "Safari" after the name of the fabric line from Northcott Fabrics.  Cakewalk is the pantograph and I used Dill King Tut thread.
I changed this one.  I was going to do the same pattern, but then the light bulb switched on and I opted for Drunkard's Path.  This is a combo of two lines.  Safari Swank and Zoometrics.  Same pantograph, same thread.  I was on a roll with these.
I do like the way I did the label for this one.  Sometimes you can find the perfect little piece of fabric to sew your label onto.  I have another one I did, that I really like.  It's coming up soon.
