Another order means more quilts

I have more of the panels to stitch out, but the one backing I had I wasn't happy with.  I bought another of the Harbour Reflections and decided on the other two, the yellow one from the World of Susy Bee and the "nest" one is Nature Study from Wilmington Prints.

I also threw in one more panel from Zoe the Giraffe from The World of Susy Bee.  The backing will match and I have the thread and pantograph all picked out.

I have decided I am keeping one of the "You are Loved" quilts for my room........for a little while.  I'll be posting the quilt on tomorrow's blog.

Then I decided I better get more thread.
I went on Kawartha Quilting (see the link below) and ordered Colonial Gray and Midnight Blue.  The blue I'm really low on and it's easier to wind bobbins on my machine while I stitch out than wind them before hand.
I have to admit it's not easy ordering thread online.  For so long I ordered from Anita and would pop over to her house ~~ a very short drive away ~~ and pick it up.  Anita retired and Kawartha decided to carry the threads I use.  Lucky me!
The thread on the right is Colonial Gray, believe it or not.  I know....it looks cream. There are 6,000 yards of thread on this cone and it is perfection.  I've never used a thread that blends into so many fabrics.  The price is fabulous!
Most, if not all the quilts I do are for charity and this makes it just that little bit more affordable for me.

Speaking of Anita......this is the best youtube I've ever watched.  You need a bit of time but it is so worth it.
