It's the best I could do with what I had

On July 19th, I went into the sewing room and cut kits.  This was one of them.  I used every last fat quarter I had from the tan/brown/red line of fabric.  Nothing left when I was done.

At the beginning of the month I sat down at the sewing machine and strip pieced two sections together.  Once that was done, I pressed and then sewed the rest of the blocks.  It didn't take long before they were on the wall.

When I was done, I noticed something I didn't like.  You can see the blocks marked with an "X"

I redid them and ended up with one block with the dark sides instead of three of them.  I'm not happy, but I do think it is better

and you know what I will be the only one who notices!!
