It was a panel given to me from Pam because I gave her something. I never snapped a photo of the panel so I had to go to the Henry Glass website and find it.
I fiddled with it, cut it apart, made mistakes with borders, had to redesign, but in the end.
Well, this certainly could have been pressed before I snapped the photo!

The backing was made with 9 fat quarters and I pressed the openings flat.
I don't normally do that but I didn't want problems with quilting where the joins were
The I had to choose the thread. I had one picked
and then opted for this one.

I chose Starry Dreams for the pantograph because when I looked at the quilt there were stars and "swoops". I wanted the stars to show a bit on the quilt and that was the reason for the choice of colour for the thread.
