It was fantastic

our little trip over to Vittoria.  A quilt show of course because we always seem to need a reason to go out and travel.  We are a pair of bumpkins -- content to sit at home......well the old fella is.
I've booked him for one more trip.  It's a bi-yearly one for us, but first Traditions and Transitions.
Before the slideshow starts, let me explain this area.  At one time, tobacco was grown on the beautiful soil that you will find there.  As times have changed so has the farming.  It's now used for ginseng and nurseries and wineries.  So different but signs of the past are still around.
Another fun tidbit of information is the Town of Port Dover located on Lake Erie.  A wonderful fishing community that is popular with tourists in the summer time.  It's also popular every Friday the 13th!!!  That's when the bikers come to Town and they are welcomed by one and all.  Don't take a car over, you won't get in.
I bought one thing.....one tiny little thing besides the admission fee for the two of us and lunch at Tim Horton's.  Where else would we go?  It's a tradition!!!

Isn't this the cutest?  I know what I'm doing with it already.

Okay, enjoy the show.  Karl and I both did.
