Starting today

and going on until the 18th of November, there is a festival in our Town.
The World of Threads Festival
Fibre artists from around the world will have their work on display in different venues throughout Oakville.
Works from across Canada, the United States,     Denmark, Austria, Ireland, France, Spain, Australia, Peru, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
Venues include Joshua Creek Heritage Art Centre,  The Gallery at Sheridan Institute, The Gallery at Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre, Oakville Town Hall, Abbozzo Gallery, and  Honourable Mention 2007 more.
This event is held every two years and continues to grow each and every time.  One of the shows I am not going to miss will be at the Gallery At “Q.E.P” as those of us “townies” affectionately call it.
This link will take you to the spot where you can download directions to get you around Town.
WOT
What is this?  Ahhhh, you’ll have to come out to the show to find out.
I have asked and I have permission to take photos, but they won’t be on the blog until the show closes.  Watch for them after the 18th of November.

Guess what?
