Can you smell it?
Its heavenly. I love hyacinth. The fragrance is so beautiful. We bought this at the grocery store last week and right now it is perfect. Hopefully it will keep blooming until spring. Ah, the eternal optimist.
Can you believe that three weeks have gone by and next week we have our Guild meeting? Those of you who love paper piecing are in for a treat -- a real treat! Denise McKenna will be the guest speaker. Denise has her own website and you can browse through it and see what she has to offer.
Denise lives in Hamilton and will be bringing her patterns with her for show and tell and if you are interested you can purchase patterns right there at the Guild meeting. All of her designs are original with easy to follow instructions. You can read about Diane here. Don't miss this meeting!
Also on the agenda for guild this month is Food Bank. Bring along your contribution and leave it in the trunk of Anita's car on the way into the meeting. We will be having our 50/50 draw, the proceeds of which will be going to International Child Care, Grace Children's Hospital in Haiti. Of course, we can't forget -- workshops! Listen for the announcements of upcoming workshops......March 6th, and March 27th for starters.
