Gingerbread house

We ventured off to our Museum today.  I wanted to take a photo of the work of one of our guild members.  Anita was kind enough to make 2 gingerbread houses for the last Guild meeting of 2009......one was raffled and money raised for the local food bank and the other one was given to the lady who sets up the tables and chairs for us.
When our Museum asked Anita to bake one for them, she instantly said "Yes!" This was what she did....

She very kindly donated it on behalf of all of the Guild members to the Museum.  We hold all of our workshops in this facility and each time we learn a little bit more about the history of our Town.
As you can see Anita does beautiful work.
There have been many, many compliments given to Museum staff about the house.  They are most impressed with the "pretzel" fence.
I would just love to eat it!
For those of you lucky enough to live in my Town or close by, you can drop in to the Museum and see the beautiful Christmas rooms that have been decorated by the staff.  They have done an outstanding job.
Til next time.................
