I love stitch and chat day and I actually got out to the last one. It was a week earlier than usual because of Good Friday. I had two projects in my bag to finish up and I got them both done!
I love this backing and will definitely do it again. I just wouldn't use one of those expensive zippers. Why could you not use a regular zipper and stitch it down with a fancy stitch. I will be trying that.

After a couple of nights in front of the tv, I did get the binding done on the Canada 150 "flag". I have no idea what the white fabric is......it is not a batik.....but it has a thread count like nothing I have ever worked with before. I really struggled to get my needle through it. All done and ready for delivery today.
