He really is a "Buddy"

so we named him well.
I went downstairs to do my quilt and right away the boy was under the frame.
I took forever to choose a pantograph and then to choose the thread.  No idea why I couldn't make up my mind on this one.
I finally chose Snowdrift as the panto and Superior Threads, King Tut #962 for both the top and in the bobbin.  It is a beautiful grey variegated thread and it worked beautifully on every colour in this quilt.
After a few rows of stitching I decided to get the camera to snap some photos and lo and behold
he was back, just in a different spot.
This pantograph was modified just a little bit from the original.
I did take some photos while I was working on the quilt but they were rather dark
In the meantime I hung the quilt over the railing and did some shots of the snowflakes so you can see how well the thread worked on this quilt.
The name of the thread is Pumice
and look how it stitched out on two of the colours in the quilt

                                                            The front......
and the back........
and we are keeping this one.

When I turned around and looked in the window, who was watching me.
and still no snow!
