Just a little update for everyone

The house we have lived in for 43 years..........is sold!  We are on the move.

We aren't going far, just down the road, around the corner and into a valley in the next town to a newer development that we know won't go through the destruction and reconstruction, the town we live in now is facing daily.  Packing up is being done.........."the tornado", otherwise known as our daughter, has been over and helped.  Most of this was done in 2 days......

 I did this all by myself..........

We are leaving here the end of October and should be quite settled in the new house by mid November.......I'm really hoping we are settled by then.  Almost, but not quite, in time for Christmas.

I will eventually be completely out of touch with everyone as Bell does their magic disconnecting and reconnecting our services.  We will be living by cell phone for quite a few days, which is okay.  New for us, so I'm hoping our family does not expect miracles.  At least now I do remember to turn the phone on.  Hopefully I don't loose it between here, there and wherever.

I won't be sewing as I'm packing everything up.  There is no sense leaving it until the last minute and trying to take that one last stitch.  I'll have all winter to be creative and try new things and dig out some old works and complete them.

There are at least two more posts to come.  One is a lovely quilt a customer put together for a donation quilt and one will be a surprise for you.  After that...............a sabbatical for me.

So sometime this week, I'll post the quilt and then I'll post the surprise blog.  It's all about -- nope, I don't think I'm even going to give you a clue.
