I sent this quilt out to be done. It has been in my house since Peter was a child..........okay, not that long, but a long time.
Now it has been quilted and it has a sleeve and it has been bound!
I'm sorry I don't know the name of the pantograph as the girl that did the quilting was not in the shop when I picked it up. I do remember Deborah telling me she used Glide thread.
I decided to use a civil war fabric for the binding. I wanted to use a dark blue, but the one I had in stock just didn't work. I found a "brown" and it was a lot better. Not perfect, but for the amount of time this will hang on a wall, I'm not going to get my knickers in a knot about it.
I remember exactly where I bought the backing. Fabricland when it was located on Rebecca Street here in Town. I loved it the minute I saw it.
