Stitch and chat

Our last meeting was on November 13th which was a Friday......you know that unlucky day......not always!  This is my longtime friend, Ursula.  She brought this quilt in to show us and told us "I finished something".  She finishes a lot of things.........don't let her kid you!
I asked her who this one was for and she said "ME"!
Hurrah!
I forgot who the long arm quilter was, but she did a lovely job.

This is my last lap quilt I completed.  I had to hurray this one along as it's a donation to Ronald McDonald house.  I took the photo right after I had finished the binding.  I wasn't going to feature it here, but the quilting shows up so well in the second photo.

It was time to collect pillowcases for the house too, but WOW! I never expected this.
3 baby quilts and one baby blanket
32 pillowcases and more were to come....see the last photo

one cloth book, 9 burp pads, one tiny little hat, 3 dribble bibs, 4 pairs of socks, 2 placemats
Isn't this the cutest fabric?  I spied it when I was taking the pillowcases out to count them and to photograph them.
It is so bright and so cheery and boy would I like a meter of it.  LOL
On our way over to RMHH,

we stopped at Margaret's house, to pick up her donation.  46 pillowcases in all.
There were so ever grateful for everything.
