Some Days are Diamonds, Some Days are Stone….my day was a Diamond and it had a capital “D”.
It started off with Karl making my favourite breakfast…..homemade waffles, then I had a leisurely bath (okay TMI), then off we went. Up to Mennonite country.
We had lunch at a beautiful restaurant where they make their own bread for their sandwiches…..it was soooooooooo good. Back in the car into the countryside and headed to another quilt shop. I had already been in one.
Then home to say “hello” to Misty and then out for supper. Then the kids came over and we had coffee and cake. What a day.
