We were able to get into three towns and see different things. In Kemptville we found a fabulous ice cream shop...................then in Merrickville, we watched boats go through the locks and went into a Museum. We went to Ottawa too. We saw the magnificent horses the Royal Canadian Mounted Police ride. Most of them are out on summer tour right now, but Morgan was really happy with those we got to see.
We stopped at a look out and showed her Quebec on the other side of the Ottawa River. She is still talking about that.
I hope you enjoy our short holiday on Smilebox. Oh, the stuffie? That was Morgan's gift from Grandpa and I to take on the trip. Her name is Daisy.

Friends of mine are starting their holidays this week-end. Irene is off to Europe and Charleen is headed for Newfoundland. Travel safe ladies. I'll be happy to see you back home in September.
