That selvage edge

Definition:
an edge of a piece of fabric that is woven so it will not fray
nonfraying edge of fabric: an edge of a piece of fabric that is woven so that it will not fabric: an edge of a piece of fabric that is woven so that it will not frayYes, but what is all that writing on it.

Okay, first on this one is the name of the line of fabric.  Jungle Jungle.
Name of the designer and for the life of me I cannot decipher this one.
Last the name of the fabric company and in this case the website address......http://studioefabrics.com

Now all those round circles with numbers in them.  Everyone of those colours appears in this piece of fabric.  They are there so that you can choose fabrics that will co-ordinate with this one.
Take a closer look.  See there are 3 shades of "red".  The parrot and the giraffe have these colours in them.  The black is the panda and both purples are the elephant.  All those greens are in the grasses and the yellows are the lions, the browns the monkeys.  You could take this strip with you to a fabric store without the rest of the fabric and buy all the co-ordinates you would need to make a quilt.  Try it the next time you are heading to the shops.
