We all wished Dawne a fond farewell last December as she headed south to as she said "be a real snowbird". Our editor in chief - newsletter - arrived safely in South Africa to +30 temps. I have had a few letters now and Dawne is thoroughly enjoying herself. She spent Christmas at her sister and brother-in-law's seaside home.................
If you look closely at the picture you can see the Indian Ocean behind Dawne. It merges with the sky, but it is there!

This is Dawne and her sister at the Asian Mall. Dawne was looking to buy a fan so that she could sit in front of it to cool off.
I told her she would have been cool here last week.
